Remi and Jackson Families
 
The Remi Family
The Remi family arrived in Richmond on July 24th, 2007. They are from Burundi, but had been living in a refugee camp in Tanzania. The family lives in North Arch Village Apartments. There are seven members in the family:

The grandmother
The father. He speaks a little French, understands some English
The mother
Son, age 16. He speaks a little French.
Son, age 7.
Daughter, age 5.
Son, age 2


The Jackson Family
The Jackson Family is also from Burundi. They arrived July 17, 2007. The family has mother, father and four children, ages 2 months (girl), 3 (boy), 7 and 9 (girls).
