Sunday Morning

Our school year program, We Believe, runs from September to May.  This program meets on Sunday Mornings for one hour and 10 minutes, from 9: 55 - 11:05 AM.  Classes are available for Pre-Kindergarten through High School.

What we study

  • Pre-Kindergarten:  God Made the World
  • Kindergarten:  Blest Are We
  • Grades 1-6:  We Believe
  • Grades 7-8:  Faith and Witness The themes over the two years are Creed, New Testament, Christian Morality, and Liturgy and Worship..
  • High School:   Total Youth Ministry Students study the themes of Community Life, Evangelization, Justice and Service, Pastoral Care, Prayer and Worship, and Youth Leadership Development.

These classes will meet from 9:55 to 11:05 a.m. Sunday Mornings September 11, 2011 through May 20, 2012.  Classes are for children ages 4 through High School.  Cost $25/student.

Priority placement is given to registered parishioners who need to fulfill their Religious Education requirement.

The deadline for sign up is August 19, 2011.  Students registering after that date will be placed on a waiting list and called as space becomes available. If space is not available, parent/guardian will be provided with Home School curriculum.
Any student who registers after December 31, 2011 will be given the Home School curriculum to complete.

We will not have Religious Ed. class on Sundays when Chesterfield County Public Schools have a Monday student holiday.  Check the schedule carefully.

  • Oct. 2, (9 no class-St Edward weekend) 16, 23, 30
  • Nov.(6 no class) 13, 20 (27 no class)
  • Dec. 4, 11, (18, 25 no classes)
  • Jan. (1 no class), 8, (15 no class), 22, (29 no class)
  • Feb.5, 12, (19 no class), 26
  • Mar. 4, 11, 18, 25
  • Apr. 1, (8, 15 no class) 22, 29
  • May (6 no class) 13, 20
