Social Events
Having fun and meeting new people is important, and social events are a great way to introduce new people to the church. Each month we'll be having a social event to kick-back and enjoy spending time with fellow young adults. Social events range from cookouts or a dinner out, to going bowling or spending the afternoon playing mini-golf. It's a great way to meet new people.
Bible Study
Our monthly Bible study is a fun, spiritual, and educational opportunity as we cover the story of the Old Testament, presenting the books in a way that follows the overarching history of the people of Israel and their relationship with God. We won't be reading each book in its entirety, but specific passages and chapters. The emphasis is not on reading large portions of the Bible, but on understanding the themes and story lines that come together across each book.
Our Bible study group meets once each month. We have a lot of group discussion, watch a short video, and work to understand the history of God's influence on humanity. At each of our meetings dinner is provided, and we have a kid-friendly atmosphere so children are welcome. It’s not required that you bring a Bible, but you might find one helpful to reference.
Community Service
Working hard to make our community a better place is important to us. Each month we spend one day volunteering. Often our events take place at soup kitchens, retirement homes, local parks, or at the homes of people in need in our parish.
