Life Teen

Life Teen is a movement of high school teens in 9th-12th grade and encompasses all Youth Ministry we do at St. Edward. Our primary goal is to lead teens towards Christ. We are a community that explores the faith, challenges each other, and has a whole lot of fun in an environment that is safe, nonjudgmental, and welcoming.

Life Teen strengthens our teens' Catholic identity while rooting them firmly in Christ and in His Church. All teens are welcome. Life Teen is not an exclusive group, and it is not just for Catholic Teens.

Sunday | 6:00-8:00 pm

As a community, we gather to learn about the faith and grow deeper in our relationship with God. We meet in a non-classroom format that is both engaging and relevant to teens. We do this through games, dynamic talks, small groups, prayer experiences, and much more!

Middle/High School Small Groups

Sunday | 10 am

Sunday mornings from 10-11am in St. John Bosco Center. Deadline to register is September 6. Please note that class may fill up before registration deadline. Once full no more registrations can be accepted

Confirmation Preparation

Monthly on Sundays or Tuesday

Our Purpose Confirmation Program starts in August and runs through the spring. In the Diocese of Richmond, your teen can start preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation when they are at least 15 years of age and enrolled in at least the 10th grade.

Discipleship Team

The Discipleship Team (DT) is a group of 11th and 12th-grade teens who desire to grow together in leadership and as disciples of Christ. These teens help lead our Sunday Night Life Nights and participate in other activities such as the DT Retreat and formation days. One of the most important things to know as you begin this application is that there is not one “perfect” type of person we are looking for. The Discipleship Team is made up of students with different personalities, gifts, strengths, and stories. What matters most is a willingness to grow, to serve others, and to continue pursuing a deeper relationship with Christ.
