Human Concerns

"We are all called to be holy by living our lives with love and by bearing witness in everything we do, wherever we find ourselves"
(Pope Francis, Gaudete et Exsultate, 14)

Human concerns refers to issues or concerns that affects the well-being of a person. The first principle of Catholic Social Teaching, Life and Dignity of the Human Person, proclaims that human life is sacred and that the dignity of the human person is the foundation of a moral vision for society. This is the foundation of all the principles of our social teaching. In response to this theme, our ministries focus on providing services to those in need with dignity and respect. We invite you to join us as we minister with a prophetic and moral voice, fostering respectful relationships with all people.

"We are called to be witnesses of peace by boldly proclaiming the dignity of the human person and working for the protection of all human life...Let us work together to pray for the protection of human life and have the courage to defend it."  (USCCB)
