Music expresses those things that words alone cannot fully convey. Through song, we give voice to our joy and sorrow, our hope and longing, our praise and prayer.
At St. Edward, our Music Ministry invites everyone to lift their voice in song. With seven ensembles and a rich variety of musical traditions, there is a place for everyone—from the seasoned musician to the joyful singer who is learning to read music.
We believe that music can open our hearts to the mystery of God. You may find holiness in the sublime music of Palestrina, J.S. Bach, and William Byrd, or be moved by the tender message of faith and love in music by Matt Maher or Chris Tomlin. At St. Edward, we embrace the breadth of musical creation as we seek to enrich our worship, deepen our faith, and draw one another into the presence of God.
